On June 17th, 1808 Henry Nutting, the former apprentice of Charles Wright, registered a mark with Robert Hennell II and the two created exceptional silver together. These dishes by the silversmiths are adorned with a majestic crowned crest representing the Gifford family, likely Robert Gifford, 1st Baron Gifford. He was a prominent lawyer and became Solicitor General, Lord Chief Justice, Attorney General and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Lords.
