This pair of covered entrée dishes by the esteemed silversmith Paul Storr showcases his early dedication to neoclassical design. Crafted when Storr was just 23 years old, these dishes are adorned with a band of bright-cut engraving, volute borders and flat mushroom finials. The visual elegance of these dishes is apparent in their refined lines and meticulous detailing, blending simplicity with sophistication. The dishes reflect Storr's respect for the neoclassical aesthetics of Andrew Fogelberg, his mentor, under whom he apprenticed until 1792.
